EDGAR P. Age 93, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 5, 2011. He was born January 9, 1918 to Emmanuel and Edith, in Melrose, LA. Edgar bravely served in WWII. He was preceded in death by his parents. Edgar is survived by his loving great-niece and care giver, Ann Denise Jaramillo and husband Tim and their daughter, Antoinette; nieces, Frances Salazar, Theresa Knevitt, Mable Jojola, and Oramae LaCour; one nephew, J.C. Roque; 25 great-nieces and great-nephews and numerous other nieces, nephews, family and friends. Edgar will be greatly missed buy all who knew and loved him. A Visitation will take place at Garcia Mortuary in the Chapel of Angels, Tuesday, November 8, 2011, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm; with a Reciting of the Rosary at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5311 Phoenix Ave NE on Wednesday, November 9, 2011, at 10:00 am, with Interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
