HARRY EDWARD Age 82, a resident of Albuquerque since 1963, died on October 29, 2011. He was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas on August 29, 1929. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary; children, Mary Sue House of Oklahoma City, OK, Harry House Jr. and his wife, Susan of Colleyville, TX, Frances Brown and her husband, Rodney of Abilene, TX, Thomas House of Albuquerque, NM, and Martha Hall and her husband, Michael of Lancaster, Ohio; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Ashley Brown, Kasey and TJ House, Blake, Kristin and Alexis Hall and two step-grandchildren. Mr. House was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Snow House, and brothers Leo, Andrew and Thomas House. Mr. House served 24 years in the USAF, retiring as a Major. Afterwards, he taught math at West Mesa High School for 22 years before retiring. In addition to teaching, he umpired a number of high school sports and for the city softball league for several of years. He served as an Elder at the Penn. St. /Mountainside Church of Christ for 35 years. Services will be held Friday, November 4, 2011, 10:30 a.m. at Mountainside Church of Christ, 12300 Indian School Rd, with Alan Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
