WAYNE REVEREND Passed into heaven on Wednesday, October 26, 2011. He was born in Dalhart, Texas October 19, 1916 To John W. and Elva Merle Hagemeier. He was the second of twelve children. He was preceded in death by his parents; eight siblings; his loving wife of sixty-six years, Eva. He is survived by his sister, Lois Duke; brother, Kenneth Hagemeier (and wife Ruth); sister-in-law, Alta Hatton; sons, Warren Hagemeier (and wife Kathleen) and Garren Hagemeier (and wife Connie); nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends who love and will miss him. Beginning at age seventeen, Reverend Hagemeier preached the gospel for 65 years. He was founding pastor of Northside Church of the Nazarene in Albuquerque, New Mexico (now part of Heights First Church of the Nazarene). He pastored Nazarene Churches in Capitan, New Mexico, Portales, New Mexico, Buhl, Idaho, Weiser, Idaho, Connell, Washington and Spokane, Washington and served as an evangelist and supply pastor at various churches across the country. Memorial services for Wayne will be held at Heights First Church of the Nazarene, 8401 Paseo del Norte, NE, Albuquerque, NM, Saturday October 29, at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Park, Albuquerque, NM immediately following the memorial service. Memorial gifts should be sent to Heights First Church of the Nazarene, 8401 Paseo Del Norte NE Albuquerque, NM 87122, in honor of Wayne Hagemeier to be used in ministry to senior citizens.
