ROSARIO MORENO Age 76, a resident of Albuquerque for 34 years, died Wednesday, October 19, 2011 in her home surrounded by family and friends. She is survived by husband of 50 years, Mark L. Woods of Albuquerque, NM; children, Rosa M. Woods of Denver, CO, Mark E. Woods and wife, Jodie of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Amanda, Melanie, Ryan, John, Francisco, Shannan, Russell and Madison; great-grandson, Jeremy; sister, Dolores Moreno; nieces, Mary and Carmen; and numerous family and friends in Spain and around the world. Rosario was preceded in death by her parents, Eduardo and Rosario; siblings, Pepe, Francisca, Antonio, Eduardo and an infant sister. Rosario was a force of life and a social butterfly. She was happiest surrounded by friends and family, loved to cook, entertain and will be remembered for her Spanish croquetas and tortillas. She loved to sing, dance, throw parties, shop and visit her native country of Spain. Rosario was strong-willed, and always took care of her family and friends. Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and Rosary will be recited Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at Sangre de Cristo Catholic Church, 8901 Candelaria NE. Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 3:00 p.m., also at Sangre de Cristo Catholic Church with Father Fernando Rubio, Celebrant.
