STEVEN PAUL Age 51, our special angel on earth, joined his mother in the Kingdom of Heaven on Friday, October 21, 2011. Born, April 12, 1961, the youngest of nine children, Steven, blessed us with 51 years of joy. Steven lived his life with an innocent spirit and unconditional faith in the Lord. He served devoutly as an usher at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church. He was an athlete in the NM Special Olympics Ski, Cycling and Bowling Teams. He graduated from Manzano High School in 1981 and retired, after 25 years of service, from Albuquerque Public Schools. Steven is survived by his father, Frank Sedillos; brother, John Sedillos and wife, Linda; sister, Kathy Jaramillo and husband, Allen; brother, Danny Sedillos; sister, Maria "Lena" Trujillo and husband, Ace; sister Barbara Sedillos; brother, Randy Sedillos and Liza Knight; sister-in-law, Karen Sedillos; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Steven was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Barbara Sedillos; brothers Frank "Bosque" Sedillos Jr., and Rick Sedillos. Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final Visitation will be Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande, 5901 St. Joseph Dr. NW, with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m., Monsignor Lambert Luna, presider. A Committal Service will follow at 11:15 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be J. J. Sedillos, Greg Sedillos, Paul Sedillos, A. J. Santillanes, Joshua Jaramillo, Ryan Santillanes, Marquis Sedillos, Isaac Sedillos, and Mark Knight. The family would like to thank Adelante Development Center, Alta Mira Respite, and St. John's Healthcare for the care and compassion given to Steven in his final months.
