THOMAS JEROME JR. Age 74, formerly of Mokena, Illinois and a resident of Rio Rancho, New Mexico for the past seven years, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2011. He was born on August 28, 1937 to Thomas J. and Elizabeth M. (Kizman) Kaemerer, Sr., in Chicago, IL. Tom enlisted in the US Army and served in the Tank Corps in Germany during the Cold War. He was a dedicated Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Chicago Bears football fan. His true passion was fishing. He was, also fond of the tables at Harrah's in Laughlin, Nevada. He was a member of the Rio Rancho Elks Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas J. and Elizabeth M. Kaemerer, Sr. Thomas is survived by his sister, Paula L. Mason and her husband, Michael, of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; brother, John "Jack" F. (Pat) Kaemerer formerly of Durango, Colorado but now of Charleston, South Carolina; sons, Matthew A. Kaemerer of Chicago, Illinois and Kenneth P. (Jamie) Kaemerer of North Judson, Indiana; a granddaughter, Brittany Markham; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Services are pending at this time and will be announced.
