Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Thursday October 13, 2011

YVONNE MARIE On October 9, 2011 a beautiful soul winged its way to her Heavenly Father and His Beautiful Mother to whom Yvonne had great devotion. Yvonne had many talents. She was an avid quilter having won numerous awards and co-founded the San Juan Quilters Guild. Yvonne also enjoyed rubber stamping, scrapbooking, tole painting and ceramics. Her greatest talents were as a devoted, wife, mother and grandmother. She and Joe were married in May 16, 1970 and the two became one. Out of that union came two beautiful daughters, Jennifer and Julie and four grandchildren; Nick, Matt, Jazmin and baby Dave. Yvonne's first priority was always God and her Catholic faith, her husband and her family. She will be missed, but we know she is still with us in a special way. Yvonne was born October 12, 1951 in Albuquerque, NM to Darl and Lucy Bunnell. She is survived by her husband, Joe; daughters, Jennifer Didde and Julie Fisher; parents, Darl and Lucy Bunnell; sisters, Carmela Francis (Steve) and Darla Jaramillo (Ray); as well as four grandchildren. A Rosary will be recited by Bishop James Wall at San Juan Catholic Center in Kirtland, NM on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 7:00 pm. A private family interment will follow. Memorials may be made to Farmington Birthrite. Yvonne is in the care of Cope Memorial Chapel, 404 W. Arrington, Farmington. (505) 327-5142.
