JOSEF (JOE) P. 66, unexpectedly passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2011. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Esther Gierhardt. Joe is survived by his wife of 25 years, Maria Baecker; daughters: Regina McCullough and husband, Mark; Eleonore Scheppler and husband, Thomas; and Erika Raithel and husband, Thomas; and nine grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing in the Jemez River, painting ceramics, and home improvement projects. Joe, along with his wife, Maria, was very happy living their dream as German Americans. Joe's Life Celebration Service will be Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 1:00 p.m., in the Reflection of Life Chapel (Washington and Cutler NE).
