MARIMAE Passed away at home on September 25, 2011 after a long battle with ovarian cancer. Marimae was born September 27, 1935, in Topeka, Kansas, the only child of May E. Olson and Norris A. Olson. Marimae spent much of her early life in Kansas, graduating from Highland Park High School in Topeka and the University of Kansas in Lawrence. Marimae served as a Girl Scout Leader of Troop 989. This time spent with the girls brought her joy and the wonderful gift of friendship with Sarah Jenkins. Marimae loved wildlife, nature, and mountain views. She was an avid reader and had a life long interest in travel. Marimae had the opportunity to visit twenty-two foreign countries. Marimae has now made her final trip to her heavenly home. Marimae is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Wendell L. Bynum; and her youngest daughter, Kayla S. Bynum. We thank you so much sweet Julie and Jessica, dear Janelle and Diana. A very special thank you to Dr. Carol Red and Heritage Hospice. Marimae did not want a funeral or memorial service. A private interment will take place at a later date. The family requests that memorials be made to gildasclubrochester.org. Please visit our online guestbook for Marimae at RememberTheirStory.com. FRENCH 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE (505) 275-3500
