NELSON passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2011, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Nelson was a member of the Moose Lodge. He is survived by his son Stephen Fresquez and wife Marcie; daughter Veronica Byrd and husband Edwin Sanchez; sister Olivama Fresquez; grandchildren, Dominick Byrd, James Byrd, Jadyn Sanchez, Vincent Fresquez, Morgan Fresquez, Abel Fresquez. A public viewing will be held from 2:00-7:30 p.m. Sunday September 18, 2011, with Rosary to follow at Salazar and Sons Mortuary. Mass will be held at St. Edwins Catholic Church Monday September 19, 2011, 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Fairview Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Stephen Fresquez, Edwin Sanchez, Martin Montano, Raynaldo Sanchez, Leo Darras, Jacob Sanchez, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Vincent Fresquez, Gilbert Fresquez, Alex Gonzales, Trinidad Chavez, Orlando Sanchez, Jesse Montano, Vincent Gonzales, Michael Darras, Jamie Sanchez, Dominick Byrd, James Byrd, Vincent Montano, Christopher Chavez, Joseph Martinez, Gabriel Sanchez, and Fabian Sanchez.
