Obituary for WILSON

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Sunday September 11, 2011

BENNY L. A lifelong resident of Albuquerque went home to be with the lord on September 6th, 2011. Benny Lee Wilson was born January 18, 1975 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was the son of Virner Lee Wilson and Irene Wilson. He graduated from Albuquerque High School, class of 1993 and went on to earn his Associate in Business from ITT Tech. It only took one encounter with him to know that he had a big heart. He would do anything he could do for his family and friends. He loved all types of music and created his own unique moves. He loved to make everyone laugh and this is why we called him the "life of the party". At family events, he always found a way to tell the funny and embarrassing stories of his sister, as if he was the "golden" child and could have never done something to embarrass himself. He enjoyed sports and he always knew it all whether it was the pro football season or college to NASCAR racing, you would find him loud and glued to the TV. He's a son, brother, and a friend that will be truly missed. He leaves his cherished memories to his parents Virner and Irene Wilson of Albuquerque, NM; three sisters Patricia Wilson (Brian) of Albuquerque, NM, Albenita Padilla and Glenda Padilla of San Felipe, NM; brother James Padilla of San Felipe, NM; three spoiled nieces Kiara, Brianna, and Blessin'e; along with a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family and friends. The family of Benny would like to thank everyone for their prayers, visits, cards, food, thoughts, and love during this difficult time.
