DOROTHY ARLENE Known as "Dottie" went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 7, 2011. She was born in Kansas City, KS to Marion and Virginia Moore on February 7, 1935. She married Donie G. Heavner on April 4, 1954 and moved to Albuquerque, NM where they raised their five children. Dottie was active in her church and community and a successful business woman. Dottie was preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by her children Doug and wife Nancy, Dan and wife Anna, David, Dorothy and husband Mark, and Dennis and wife Beth. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; her siblings Richard Moore and Mary Lou Harris; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Dottie was surrounded in life and death by many loving friends and family and will be remembered for her infectious smile, her joy of life, and love for her lord Jesus Christ. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, September 12, 2011 at Eastern Hills Baptist Church.
