KATHERINE N. "KATE" Momma Kate passed away peacefully and quietly on Friday, Sept. 2 at home with her family and friends at her side. She was very thankful and overwhelmed by the prayers and love that were given to her in her time of need. She was raised in Albuquerque where she graduated from Highland High School, worked as a unit and medical secretary for the hospitals and doctors in Albu. for over thirty years. She loved reading romance novels, baking cakes and pies, Nascar racing and her grandchildren. Cremation has taken place and we will celebrate her life on Friday, Sept. 9 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at 6005 Zimmerman Ave. NE. In lieu of any flowers, Kate would prefer that you please make a donation in her name to Hospice Compassus.
