AMANDA S. A long time resident of the East Mountains, passed away on Sunday evening, August 28, 2011. She is survived by her spouse, John; two beautiful adult children, Jeremiah and Katrina; her brothers, Scot Scurlock and his wife Ana of Peralta, and her brother Stuart Scurlock of Hawaii; sisters-in-law, Theresa McFerrin and Barbara Singer of Tajique, Nancy Oriola of Albuquerque; brother-in-law, Mark McFerrin of Dallas; nieces, Sara Yowell and Julia McFerrin of Dallas, and Andrea Hill of Nashville. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Gordon Scurlock and Brooks Lewis Scurlock. She leaves innumerable friends and touched the lives of many, always in a positive way. She will be missed by all and never forgotten. Please join us for a Memorial Service at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas NE, Albuquerque at 11:00 a.m, Saturday, September 10, 2011.
