CHARLES STEWART Age 76, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 18, 2011. He is survived by his wife, Rose Carlene Burnett; children, Curtis Burnett and wife, Cindy, Randal Burnett and wife, Amanda, Ronnie Burnett and wife, Mahona, Rhonda Candelaria and husband, Frank; grandchildren, Jason Burnett and wife, Laura, Trista Prowell and husband, Joshua, Savannah Burnett, Sarah Allred and husband, Joseph, Stewart Burnett and wife, Lindsey, Alan Bolstad, Twuana Burnett, Chad Burnett, Austin Randall and wife, Brooke, Wade Randall; nine great-grandchildren; siblings, Billie Stephens, Wriley Burnett and wife, Nancy, and Johnnie Ruth "Sissy" Harrison and husband, Don and many other family members. Charles co-owned and operated Valley Redi-Mix Concrete for 15 years. He founded and operated Albuquerque Curb Cutting. Mr. Burnett served on the Board of Ponderosa Christian Camp and was responsible for the construction of many of its structures. A service will be held, Monday August 22, 2011, 2:00 p.m., at Netherwood Park Church of Christ, 5101 Indian School Road NE. Interment will follow at Sandia Memory Gardens, 9500 San Pedro NE. Friends may visit French - University Chapel on Sunday, August 21, 2011, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ponderosa Christian Camp, 12300 Indian School Rd.
