CAMERON Cameron Weiss, the son of Curtis and Jennifer Weiss and brother of Kaitlyn Weiss passed away on August 13, 2011. He was 18 years old. Cameron was a fun-loving person who had a good heart and loved and cared about his family and friends. His friends describe him as someone who would give them the shirt off his back, a person who lifted spirits and had a smile that you would never forget. Cameron referred to himself as a lyrical poet and he wrote about life and his experiences both good and bad. Cameron had attended La Cueva High School where he played football and was a wrestler. Cameron is survived by his parents, Curtis and Jennifer Weiss; his sister, Kaitlyn; grandparents, Dave and Carolyn McCandless and Michael and Trudie Weiss; aunt and uncle, Tom and Becky McCandless, Paul and Trudy Duval, Richard and Pat Weiss; great-grandmother, Pauline McCandless; cousins, Tyler and Melanie Lindahl; his three favorite dogs, Faye, Daisy and Charlotte; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his aunt, Nannette Lewis; great-grandmother Leota Gee; and great-grandfather Tom Meeks. A celebration of Cameron's life will be held at Calvary Church, 4001 Osuna Rd, on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at 3:30 p.m. Honorary pallbearers are: Mohamad Kahalah, Dane Vaudt, Chris Speis, Kent Vigil, Justin Mayfield, and Cody Clay Rondeau. Cameron is at peace now. The demons he faced are no longer haunting him. May his soul find places within us all to keep living on. Cameron's smile will live on forever in all of our hearts.
