JOHN P. Age 87, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 with his family by his side. He is survived by his daughter, Helen R. Sanchez and partner, Ron Garrison; son Willy J. Jojola Sr. and wife, Lorraine; granddaughter, Valerie A. Jojola-McBride and husband, Gary; grandson, Willy J. Jojola Jr. and wife, Tonia Gutierrez; five great-grandchildren, Chase McBride, Justin McBride, Jared McBride, Olivia Jojola and Josiah Vigil and his adopted daughter, Sally Padilla and husband, Augie. Mr. Jojola was preceded in death by his wife, Flora G. Jojola and daughter, Alice Jojola. John worked for many years and retired from the US Post Office. A service will be held, Monday, August 15, 2011, 10:00 a.m., at French - University Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd. N.E. Pallbearers will be Ron Garrison, Helen R. Sanchez, Gary McBride, Chase McBride, Willy Jojola Jr., and Willy Jojola Sr. Honorary pallbearer will be Valerie A. Jojola-McBride.
