AURORA CORDOVA A servant of God, a dedicated daughter, a caring sister, a loving wife and a shepherding mother. She worked hard and persistently, to caring for her children - rising early, taking few breaks and when she laid her head down to rest, she slept like a woman whose work was done. Aurora died July 26, 2011, at 6:40 after a long journey with Alzheimer's. Her husband Jose Francisco and son Benjamin preceded her in death. She is survived by three sisters, eleven children: Antonio, Angelina, Agatha, Andres, Jeanette, Alicia, Bernardo, Maria, Carlos, Catharina, Cristobal and their spouses. She had twenty-five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren who were blessed with her love. For each person, who met her, who listened to her, who spent time with her, they will remember her wisdom, her shiny eyes and her beautiful smiles. Please pray for her and her family. Services: public viewing on Sunday, July 27, 2011, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Berardinelli Funeral Home and Rosary at 7:30 pm at St. Anne's Church. Funeral Mass, Monday, August 1, 2011, at 11:00 am at St. Anne's Church with interment at the National Cemetery at 12:45 pm. Following will be a reception at St. Anne's church hall.
