DANIEL N. Age 94, an Oklahoma native and resident of Albuquerque since 1992, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2011. He was born on October 17, 1916 in Checotah, OK to D.N. and Alice McIntosh. He was preceded in death by his wonderful wife of 50 years. Daniel is survived by his son, Robert D. McIntosh of Albuquerque; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Dan was born, raised and educated in Oklahoma. He was a life-long Methodist having joined the Methodist church at the age of 12 and he continued in his church activity. He was an avid sportsman, loved to play golf, was an extrovert and a people and nature lover. He served as Captain in both World War II and the Korean War. He retired from Sunoco, Inc. having served as Tulsa City Marketing manager, area manager and Tulsa District Sales Manager. After retirement, Daniel and his wife traveled extensively. Cremation has taken place. A graveside inurnment will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, OK. Memorial remembrances may be made to your favorite charity in Dan's honor.
