JAMES EDWARD Passed away July 14, 2011 at the age of 82. He was born in 1928 to Olosis Fortenbury and Florence Mott Fortenbury, in Neosho Missouri. He was a World War II Veteran who faithfully served our Nation from October 25,1946 to April 7, 1948. He will be laid to rest on Wednesday July 20, 2011 at 3:00 pm (Mountain time), at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, just north of Santa Fe, NM. He was preceded in death by his father and mother; brothers Lenard, Charles, and Lee; and sisters Louise, Dolly, and Deloris. Survivors include wife, Alice Vick; brother, John Fortenbury; children, Linda and Brian of Phoenix, AZ; James and Laura of Albuquerque, NM; Forrest and Brenda of Wichita Falls, TX,; Dan and Stacie; Debra; and Robert and Gloria all of Albuquerque NM. Grandchildren, Michael and Melissa of Plainview, TX; Amy, Steve, Ashley and Rip all of Phoenix, AZ; Naomi of Box Elder, SD; and Sean of Albuquerque, NM. With ten great-grandchildren, David of Plainview, TX; Lena, Kaylee, and Brody of Phoenix, AZ; Karile, Loralie, Allyson, DaKwan of Albuquerque, NM; and Sarayha of Box Elder, SD.
