MARTIN MATTHEW Entered into Heaven on July 11, 2011 in Corona, California. Martin was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on November 27, 1963. In Albuquerque, he attended Saint Mary's Elementary and Middle School, Saint Pius High School and West Mesa High School. Martin went on to graduate from Barstow High School in Barstow, California in 1981. Martin maintained a 3.5-4.0 grade point average and favored science over the rest of his studies. Martin enjoyed the simple things in life like camping, fishing and a good meal. His intelligence, humor, wit and concern for others will truly be missed. He is preceded in death by his father, Deacon Francis Roman. He is survived by his mother, Lenora Roman; brother, Benedict Roman and his wife, Patricia Roman; sister, Laurianna Sargent and her husband, Jim Sargent; Nephews, Ben Roman, Derek Roman, Wyatt Starr, Jack Sargent; aunts, Vina Sesma, Vera Gutierrez; uncle Raymond Sandoval and wife, Angie Sandoval. Services will be held on Friday, July 15, 2011, at Saint Joseph Catholic church, 505 East Mountain View Street, Barstow, California, 92311. Rosary at 9:00 a.m., Mass at 10:00 a.m., and interment to follow at Mt. View Cemetery. Arrangements by Meads Mortuary Barstow California.
