MICHAEL E. SR. of Bosque Farms, NM passed away in his home on June 11th, 2011. Born on December 28th, 1953, Michael was preceded in death by his father Robert L. Saunders Sr. of Florida. Michael is survived by his son Michael E. Saunders Jr. and wife Malli; mother Ruth Kirker; brother Robert L. Saunders Jr. and wife Jeri and Charles A. Saunders; sister Jeanette Parsons; and a large, loving extended family. Special people in Michael's life include Larry and Sylvia Messier, Eduardo Padilla, Susan Saunders, and John and Anna Tanner. The family would also like to thank all those who provided hospice care for their selfless service in making Michael's last days comfortable. Michael donated his remains to medical research through the UNM School of Medicine. As such, memorial services will be postponed until such time as his remains are released. Michael was always thoughtful, kind, funny, well-loved, and helpful to all he met. Michael's greatest hope was to continue helping others as evidenced by this final gift. We will meet again in heaven.
