WILLIAM JOE Age 85, of Albuquerque, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2011. Mr. Fisher is survived by his children: Linda Fisher, Paula Powell, Perry Fisher, Cynthia Marsh, and Tyson Fisher and wife, Dee. He is also survived by one brother, Tom Fisher and wife, Donita of Alamogordo, NM; two sisters, Dora Fisher of Albuquerque and Juanell Thompson of Paragould, AR; two sisters-in-law, Betty Fisher of Midland, TX and Joyce Fisher of Albuquerque; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and other family members. Bill was preceded in death by his two sons, Charles Aaron and William Stuart. William served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Although among his most proficient accomplishments were his abilities to break and tame wild horses, rope and brand calves, and eventually the buying and selling of cattle as an auctioneer at sale barns and finally owned a cattle-ranch with his former wife, Virginia in Volcano Cliffs, NM. Following that, he was in the business of house moving in the states of New Mexico and Arizona until 1990. Services will be held Thursday, June 9, 2011, 2:00 p.m., at Rio Rancho Church of Christ, 1006 22nd Street SE followed by interment at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE.
