FILADELFIA T. Age 84, loving, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, went to be with our Lord and Savior Monday, May 30, 2011. Filadelfia was born on April 16, 1927 in Tome, NM. She was an amazing and spiritual woman, who loved our Lord to the highest and was a faithful, devoted Catholic. Fila was a loving person who brought joy and blessings to her family. She loved animals. Filadelfia is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank Vigil; her mother, Inez Otero; daughter, Antonia Gallegos and brother, Porfirio Otero. Filadelfia is survived by her loving children, Catherine Maestas and husband Alfred, Cecilia Aldaz and husband Hector, Francella Vigil, Robert Vigil and wife Margaret; sister-in-law Tillie Garcia; sister, Mela Lewis; brother, Alfonso Marquez; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; five great- great-grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Fila's Life Celebration will begin with a rosary recited at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 301 Stover Ave. SW, Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at 7:00 p.m.; Mass of Christian burial will also be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Thursday, June 2, 2011 at 10:00 a.m.; Interment to follow at Valencia Cemetery, Valencia, NM.
