WILLIAM J. Beloved husband and father, went with God on Thursday, May 26, 2011, leaving behind his family: wife Anne, two daughters DeeDee Cianflone and Mary Romero, and son-in-law Julio Romero, as well as father Robert Leader, brothers Henry Leader, Tom Leader, Edward Leader, and sister Cathy Piombino. A brilliant engineer holding patents for his work with filtration systems and a thoughtful poet with a mind for historical symbolism, Bill challenged and embraced all who encountered him. Though he will be greatly missed, we take comfort in knowing that he is now at peace with a freedom he knew little of in life.
