Mary Louise Hutchison, 87, long time Albuquerque resident went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 21, 2011. She is survived by three children, Daniel Hutchison and wife, Sammie of Albuquerque, Julie Ann Bratton and husband, Kent of Manhattan, KS, and Theresa Marie Wells of Mesa, AZ; grandchildren, Patrick Hutchison, Jennifer Bratton, Jessica Aull and husband, Robert, Tiffany Guevara and husband, Brian, Staci Newton and husband, Jerod, and Emily Bejarano and husband, Chris; seven great-grandchildren; brother, James "Jimmie" Tardy of Denver, CO along with many extended family members and friends. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Byron "Hutch" Hutchison in February of 1998; and two sons, Thomas Byron Hutchison in October of 1984 and Charles Edward Hutchison in November of 1986. Louise supported her husband and raised their family while living in various countries during his military career. They settled with their children in Albuquerque in 1958. After "Hutch retired from the United States Air Force and the FAA they traveled the world extensively. Her most recent travels were a Mediterranean cruise in 2009 and a Grand Canyon trip via Rails to the Rim train. Though she had a great love for traveling and life, her greatest love was always her family and friends. Friends may visit with "Mama Lou's" family on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at French ~ Wyoming Chapel from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. with rosary to begin at 6:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held at French ~ Wyoming Chapel on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Louise will be laid to rest with her husband "Hutch" at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Should friends desire contributions may be made to The American Cancer Association at www.cancer.org or 1-800-227-2345.
