Patricia Ann Wallace, 65, passed away on May 7, 2011. Born in Taos, NM and raised in Tucson, AZ, she lived in Key West, FL, San Angelo, TX, Ketchikan, AK, Magdalena, NM, Socorro, NM and Belen, NM before moving to Albuquerque, She is survived by her husband Elbert Lynn Wallace; son Joseph Stewart; daughter Leslie King; grandchildren Gabriel and Alexis Benavidez; brother Anthony Rael and sister-in-law Margarita; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents Alfonso and Cecelia Rael. She enjoyed flower gardening and needlework. Patricia provided child care in Belen, NM and was loved by many children and their parents. Patricia never complained or blamed others for the many hardships she encountered. She was courageous and fearless as she dealt with life's challenges and her illness. She was known for her kindness and generosity. She will be remembered and missed by all who knew and loved her. A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Friday July 1, 2011 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Cerro, NM. Burial of her ashes will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
