Sophie Mary Stryjewski, age 94, passed away at her Daughter's home in Sedillo, Mexico, on Thursday May 19, 2011. Sophie was born in Milwaukee Wisconsin in 1916 and resided there until 1976, when she and her husband moved to New Mexico to retire. She was preceded in death by her husband Roman, in .1995. Sophie and Roman operated their own businesses, starting with Roman's Home Bakery, on South16th Street, in Milwaukee in the 195Os and concluding with the Kansas Bar in St. Francis which they operated for more than 20 years Before moving to New Mexico. Sophie is survived by her only child, daughter, Judith Millers; son-in-law Glen; and grandsons, David and Daniel; sisters-in-law, Kate Tanty, husband Joe, Sophie Bruskiewitz and Agnes Mohalski; and brother-in-law, Stanley Stryjewski, wife, Ann, as well as many Nephews and nieces. Sophie had a full and happy life and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
