Obituary for WALKER

Thomas Russell Walker was born August 5, 1941 in Trona, California and died after a short illness on April 19, 2011 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. His family moved to Albuquerque in 1947 and then to Farmington in 1954 where he graduated from Farmington High School. Russ attended the University of New Mexico with the intent of becoming an architect. He received a degree in Electrical Engineering and worked for Uhl and Lopez for many years before entering into a partnership with Robert Swartwood to establish RMS Engineering/E.D.S. Engineering, LLC. He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas Reynol Walker and Breva June Maddox Walker and his son Thomas Shawn Tidwell. He is survived by his beloved granddaughter, Harper June Tidwell of Charlottesville, Virginia. An event in his honor will be held at a later date at Paul's Monterey Inn, his favorite gathering place.
