Jimmy Trujillo, 55, passed away peacefully, finally ending his excruciating battle with a long-term illness, at his Corrales home on May 11, 2011. A life-long New Mexico resident, Jimmy was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by wife, Darlene who selflessly loved and cared for him until his last breath; his son, Eric and wife Saundra; grandchildren Evan and Janelle. Jimmy was an amazing, brave, giving and loving man who will be truly missed. A celebration of his memory will be held at the University of New Mexico Alumni Chapel at 10:00 am Saturday May 14. A reception will be held immediately following the service at the home of Eric Trujillo.
