Janet R. Dwyer, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque since 1955, died Monday, May 9, 2011, after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Janet retired from APD as a civilian employee after serving 25 years. She was preceded in death by her parents Wanda and Raymond Staehlin and brother-in-law Mike A. Dwyer. She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Larry Dwyer; three brothers-in-law Tim T. Dwyer, Sean A. Dwyer and partner Mike Lundgren, Pat M. Dwyer; two sisters-in-law Nancy A. Dwyer, Jody Davidson and husband Rick; aunt Evelyn Byrd; uncle David Mathis and wife Marlene; nine nephews William M. Dwyer, Timothy A. Dwyer and wife Ruth, Christopher A. Dwyer and wife Anne, Jeremy Svejcar and fiance Rose Garcia, Christopher T. Greeley, Robert H. Dwyer, Keith T. Dwyer, Kevin T. Dwyer, Kyle Dwyer; four nieces Robin B. Townsend, Linda Sullivan, Amanda Smith and husband Karl, Kelley Bean and husband Mike; three cousins Sue Lacy, Jim Byrd and wife Teresa, Niki L. Dickey and husband Frank; two brothers David E. Staehlin and wife Margaret, Jerry D. Staehlin; and numerous other family members and friends. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Services will be held on Friday, May 27, 2011 at 10:00 am at Mountain Valley Church, 5 Dinkle Rd. in Edgewood. Family and friends will gather for food and friendship at 22 Anne Ct following the services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Friends in Time, 3900 Osuna Rd. NE Alb., NM 87109.
