Frances Emma Carr, age 78, a resident of Albuquerque since 1968, passed away early Sunday morning, May 8, 2011. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Edward G. Carr; her six children, Susan Carr, Amy Gorman, Julie Reeves and husband Jim, Edward G. Carr Jr. and wife Lorena, Kathleen Carr, (all reside in the Albuquerque area), and David Carr and wife Virginia, of Las Vegas, NV; eight grandchildren, Stokey and Edward Pearson, Alex Fekete, Frances Sedillo, Jessica Chavez, James Reeves, Catherine and Edward G. Carr the 3rd; great-grandchildren, Max Robertson, Odyssea Pearson, Braden, Gedeon and Kuenzler Fekete, AJ, Julianna, Antonio and Emma Sedillo, Selena Arroyos and Adrian Gonzales; brother, George Jansen and wife Ruth, of New Jersey; and many other family members and friends. Fran was a loyal, devoted, forgiving, and loving lady, and a creative-talented hobbyist. She always enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, nature, and traveling cross country with her husband to visit friends and family. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2011, at 2:00 p.m., at French - University Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, 87102, and floral arrangements for the service will be graciously accepted at French.
