Sarah Alarid, born March 23, 1915 went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, May 3, 2011. She is survived by her grandson, David McMillan and his wife Cheryl of Foster City, CA; two nieces Pasty Stout and Ruth Abeyta; grand-niece, Kim Moreno and her husband, Jose; grand-nephew, Donny Stout. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Alarid of Santa Fe, NM who was a WWI Veteran and daughter Bonnie McMillan. She was raised in Carrizozo, NM and had so many stories about Lincoln County, Billy the Kid and her heritage. She was a member of Eastern Hills Baptist church for over 30 years. A graveside service will held at Sunset Memorial Park, 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2011.
