DORTHEA V. A celebration of Dortheas's life was held in Ft. Sumner, N.M. on May 7, 2011. She was born September 6, 1913 and passed awayon February 22, 2011 in Prescott, AZ. She and her husband Bill opened the first ice skating rinks in Albuquerque (1948) and in Phoenix AZ (1956). They also operated bowling centers in Albuquerque. Dorthea was an avid figure skating and hockey fan. Survivors are daughter, Frances Snelson Turman; son, George Snelson; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
