Mildred "Millie" 73, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2011. She fought a courageous battle against complications caused by having Type I Diabetes for more than 58 years. She is also survived by her brother Jerry "Butch" Nordstrum who lives in Farmington, NM; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Bud and Millie owned several local businesses over the years to include Bud Kostedt's Conoco, Sandy's Hallmark and Fair Plaza Flowers and Gifts. They worked side by side until they retired in 1993. They traveled in their RV and spent many fun summers in Colorado with their granddaughter and enjoyed their winters in Arizona. "Nana" loved her grandchildren and she was so proud of them. They brought joy and laughter to each other's lives and made memories that will last forever. Her amazing strength and infectious laugh have made a mark on the lives of so many. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Millie's family would like to acknowledge and thank Dr. Karol Klager and Dr. Louise McDade for their compassionate care during her time at Presbyterian Hospital and her loving nurses Keri and Barbara at Kaseman Hospice.
