Obituary for HILL

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Sunday May 01, 2011

Kenneth M. Hill, 82, entered heaven to meet his precious Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 21, 2011. He was a gentle person who used his gifts to help others. His family were homesteaders coming to the state in the early 1900s to find their home in Edgewood, NM. He was president of the Albuquerque Board of Realtors at the age of 27. Following a passion for early childhood learning, he continued his career becoming an educational research psychologist. His legacy is his "Mr. Kenco's Instant Read". This remarkable reading material is used in schools and homes across the United States and in 13 foreign countries. He leaves his wife, Kathryn of Albuquerque; ex-wife, Maxine Hill of Santa Fe, NM; six children; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Chester Hill of Edgewood, NM and Fred Hill of Albuquerque; and one sister, Maxine Hopping of Edgewood. Cremation has taken place and services were private. Donations may be made to any organization researching dementia. We will miss you forever "Daddy", "Grandpa Kenco", "Kenno".
