Obituary for WHITLING

Leo C. Whitling, Sr., 95, went home on Tuesday, April 19, 2011. He was born in Van, PA and was a 54 year resident of Albuquerque. He is survived by his wife of 74 years, Etta Mae; children, Leo C. Whitling, Jr., Patricia Saxton and Amy Lou Whitling; five grandchildren, Joyce Renee Carabajal, Heather Whitling, Bethany Marie Welt, Sarah Catherine Whitling and Ian Chandler Whitling; five great-grandchildren, Madelin and Nicholas McDonald, Shelby, Cole and Max Whitling. Mr. Whitling was a general contractor for many years before retiring at age 71. His retirement hobbies included counted cross-stitch and needlepoint. He was a life member of Temple Lodge #6 and Past Worthy Patron of Eastern Star Adah Chapter #5. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at French ~ Wyoming Chapel.
