Gloria Gurule went home to be with our Lord and Savior Saturday, April 16, 2011. Gloria was born on December 22, 1928 in Tijeras, NM. Gloria was a very loving and caring person who brought joy and laughter to everyone in her life. Gloria adored her family and loved to be in their company; she also loved coffee and cooking. Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, Vicente Jaramillo and Trinidad Garcia; her beloved husband Vicente Gurule; and her son Joe Gurule. Gloria survived by her loving grandchildren, Issac, Martin, Yolanda, Leroy, Mandy, Edward, Avron, Perfilia, Gloria Joanna, Robert, Julian, Janice, Angie, Mandy, Vicki, Tina, Gabriel, Nickolas, Theresa and Yolanda; 38 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; nieces Maxine and Bessie; and numerous other family and friends. Gloria will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. A Visitation and Rosary will take place at Garcia Mortuary in the Chapel of Angels on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.; reciting of the Rosary to begin at 2:00 p.m.; Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at St. Therese of the Infant Jesus, 300 Mildred Ave. NW, Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 3:30 p.m.; Interment to follow at Canoncito Cemetery, Canoncito, NM.
