Jim L. Reading, 64, a 20-year Albuquerque resident, died Tuesday, April 12, 2011. He is survived by his wife, Sheri Reading of Albuquerque; sons, Kevin A. Reading of Dallas, TX and Matthew G. Clark of Golden, CO; sister, Kay Eby of Plano, TX; niece, Anne Renner and husband, Lewis and their children, Abigail and Cole Renner all of Plano, TX. Jim started his career with the Boy Scouts of America in Dallas and upon moving to Albuquerque served as Director of Field Services with the Great Southwest Council, retiring in 2006 after over 30 years service. Jim was a graduate of North Texas State University with degrees in history and communications. He was an avid photographer, loved to travel and spend time with his family. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, April 16, 2011 at French-Westside Location, 9300 Golf Course Rd NW.
