Doris Mae Bushnell Eyster, went home to be with the Lord on March 24, 2011 in Madison, Alabama. She was born to Glenn and Marie Baker Bushnell on January 17, 1926 in Des Moines, Iowa. Doris was a very talented lady, and a very loving, caring and giving person. She loved the Lord with all her heart, and blessed her family with this love. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her sons Steven (Lisa) Eyster, Huntsville, Alabama, Patrick (Lee) Eyster, Munford, Tennessee, daughter,Susan Mead, Madison, Alabama. She is also survived by six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; brother Robert Bushnell; sisters Barbara Wingered (her best friend) and Glenna (Paul) Switzer. She was predeceased by the Love of her life James L Eyster in June 1991 after 44 years of marriage. She is also predeceased by brothers Donald Bushnell and David Bushnell. A Memorial Service and interment will be in Edgewood, New Mexico on April 9,2011.
