William Lowe Eberhard, 83, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2011 in Farmington, NM. He was born on March 29, 1927, in Akron, Ohio, to William and Glenna Eberhard. William served in the U.S. Navy during both World War II and the Korean War. William enjoyed many different jobs in his life. He worked for Creamland Dairies, Prudential Insurance ( 18 years), he owned Bill's Tackle Shop in Blanco, NM for seven years, was a reserve Police Officer and Park Ranger for the City of Farmington, a security officer for both PNM and SJRMC, and a school crossing guard. He was also a proud member of the NRA. William loved to hunt, fish, and play the slots at the casino. William was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Laura J. White, and a grandchild, Ryon Alcon. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Eberhard; daughters, Arlene Still, Gail (Neil) Holiday, Lynn (Joe) Lee, Gwen (Richard) Zawistowski; the son he always wanted, Eric (Tina) Eberhard; one brother, Robert (Pat) Eberhard; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
