Amanda (Mandy) Brand, age 14, born February 8, 1997, in Albuquerque, NM went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 14, 2011. She was a seventh grader at Desert Ridge Middle School and attended Hubert Humphrey Elementary School. Amanda was a member of Sagebrush Community Church, Calvary Chapel, AYSO Cookie Monsters soccer team, and NYS Crushers volleyball team. Survivors include her father, Scott Brand and Fiance, Rose Little; Mother, Dawn Tredway; Siblings Ashley Brand, 17, Tyler Brand, 16, Nathan Little, 24, Bradley Little, 19; Sister-in-law, Kristin Little, 21; Nephew Ayden Little, 3; Nanny Sanjuana Carranza Valle; Grandparents Jim and Ann Tredway; Great Aunt Eileen Stewart; Great Aunt and Uncle Roland and Ann Brand; Uncles Thomas Kosick and Michael Brand; Aunts Darlene Kosick and Lisa Harrison; and favorite Husky pet, Skye. Amanda was preceded in death by her Grandparents Charles and Bernadette Brand. She will be especially remembered for her bright blue eyes, gorgeous smile, uplifting spirit and amazing attitude towards life. She faced many challenges head on and was always eager to jump in to be better and better! She loved road trips, flying anywhere and everywhere, singing and dancing! She loved the ocean and getting lost in the waves. We will all miss our "little one".
