Ira Wayne Bowers, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, March 6, 2011. He is survived by his wife, Nadine Bowers of the home; son, Ricky Marquez of Raton, NM; sister, Leann Bowers-Brawley and husband, Terry of Albuquerque; brother, Nathan Bowers and wife, Victoria of Loveland, CO; nephews, David Bowers and wife, Antoinette of Albuquerque, Steven Bowers of Loveland, CO, David Bowers Jr. and Isaiah Bowers of Albuquerque; uncles, Don Bowers and Neil Bowers of Fort Wayne, IN; sisters-in-law, Karen Cordova, Stephanie Feldman and husband, Tom, and Linda Castellini, all of Raton, NM; mother-in-law, Theresa Horner; and numerous other nephews and nieces from Raton. Ira was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Earle and his father, Wayne Bowers. Ira was a member of the Church of Albuquerque. He was a loving husband and father for 30 years. He was loved by each and every one of his brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces. Friends may visit French - Wyoming Chapel Friday, March 11, 2011 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Services will be held Saturday, March 12, 2011, 2:00 p.m., also at French - Wyoming Chapel.
