Christine. Our treasured blessing, Christine "Chris" Baldwin, 85, born in Picher, Oklahoma and long time resident of Albuquerque ultimately went home to be to the good Lord on March 7, 2011. She spent her final days surrounded by her loving and devoted family and friends. Chris will always be remembered as a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend of many. She is survived by her loving companion and husband of 40 years, Charles "Chuck" Baldwin, sons Bill, Robert, and Jack Caswell, daughter Sandy Shaw, step-children Bill and Richard Broders and Sandy Daniels, along with a multitude of grand, great and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her step-children Curtis and David Baldwin. Chris will always be remembered as an avid antique collector, great cook and artist, savvy bridge enthusiast and fun RV traveler. She cherished spending summers in the pool and catching a good Cubs game in the afternoon. She will be forever missed and remembered in our hearts. The family is grateful for the compassionate care provided by Hospice de la Luz. Visitation will be held from 5:00- 7:00 pm Friday, March 11, 2011 at French Mortuary. A service to celebrate Chris's life will be held in the LDS Chapel at 4109 Eubank Blvd. NE on Saturday, March 12th, 2011 at 2:00 pm with internment to follow at Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
