Obituary for TILSETH

Neva Mae Tilseth passed away peacefully on March 5, 2011. She was born in Deer, Arkansas on May 27, 1927 and was a resident of Albuquerque since 1991. Neva spent most of her working years in restaurant management. She was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed making uniforms for the church choir as well as clothing for her children and grandchildren. She was instrumental in the start-up of The Temple Baptist Academy in Santa Fe. She loved to dance and enjoyed life to the fullest. Neva was a very giving person with a big heart. She was a current member of Monterey Baptist Church and loved the Lord with all her heart. She is preceded in death by husband Henry "Sarge" Tilseth and parents William & Fanny Edwards. Neva is survived by her husband, Dick White, son Kelly Tilseth and wife Shannon of Albuquerque, daughters Linda Wilson and husband Pat of Rio Rancho and Gail Smith of Irvington, NJ, eight grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. A celebration of Neva's life will take place at Monterey Baptist Church on March 9 at 10:00am. She will truly be missed by every life she touched. We love you.
