Alice N. Martinez, age 57, loving mother, sister, grandma, aunt and friend went home to be with our Lord and Savior Sunday, March 6, 2011. Alice was a very generous lady and always had her door open to anyone in need. She was preceded in death by her parents Elfiego and Rose Chavez; her siblings Eddie Chavez and Billy Joe Chavez. Alice is survived by her loving children, Maxine Garcia, Greg (Tony) Martinez and wife Julianna; her beautiful grandchildren, James Martinez and Mercedes Martinez; her sisters, Dolores Avila, Rosemary Cedarleaf and husband Edward, Pat Martinez, Honey Knevitt; her brothers, Sid Chavez and wife Alice, Greg Chavez and wife Cathy, Sonny Chavez, John Sanchez and Bobby Chavez and wife Berna; her sister-in-law, Anita Chavez; and the family pets, Penny and Fat Boy. Alice adored her family and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
