Andres G. Benavidez was born February 22, 1927 in Albuquerque. He entered the Kingdom of Heaven on Sunday, March 6, 2011 at the age of 84. He was known by many as Uncle Andrew, Uncle Andres, Andy and Cappy, but most people in the Los Griegos and Rio Grande area knew him as "THE LITTLE WALKER MAN", of the North Valley. Andres is survived by two sisters, Nacie Olguin and Susie Dimas; several nieces, nephews and friends. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church, 4th and Mildred NW., on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at 1:00 pm, with a visitation beginning at 12:15 pm. Burial to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, 7810 Edith Blvd. Pallbearers will be Jerry, Ricky, Randy, Sonny, Dennis and Robert. Honorary pallbearers will be Amanda, Todd and Armando.
