Bertha Halderman, 53, of Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away March 2, 2011. Bertha was born in Vaughn, NM on October 15,1957. She left this world the same way she entered it, with her mother by her side holding her. In life and in death, Bertha will always be remembered as warm, kind, and considerate of others and their surroundings. A homemaker and career woman, she was fun filled, talented, and a joy to love. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Vernon Halderman Sr. and their two children Vanessa Saavedra, along with her husband Jerett, and Vernon Halderman Jr. with Fiancee Elenita. Bertha had five wonderful grandchildren Adrian, Carlito, Katrina, Donovon, and Tatiana. She is also survived by her mother and father Susie and Tony (papi) Luna, her siblings June Tapia, Teddy Tenorio, Mary Ellen Henson, Danny Tenorio and Sister in-law Judy Risinger. Bertha had 16 nieces and nephews with a large extended family whom were a big part of her life from the oldest who called her Tita to the youngest who loved the snacks she had in stock for her visits. Bertha will be forever loved and missed by her family and her many friends. A mass will be held in her honor on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at 10:00am at St. Therese Church located at 300 Mildred Avenue Northwest Albuquerque, NM 87107. A reception to follow at her Brother Danny's house at 12521 Monarch Dr. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87123.
