Carol Vaccaro, a 30 year resident of Rio Rancho, NM passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, February 6, 2011. She is survived by her husband, Charles Vaccaro; daughter, Diane Vaccaro of Chicago, IL; son, Bill Vaccaro and partner Barbara of Rio Rancho, NM; grandson, Robert Vaccaro of Los Alamos, NM; sister, Helen Ganzini of Roseburg, OR. Carol was born in Joplin, MO in 1937. She moved to Seattle, WA where she spent her formative years and attended Washington State University. She retired from AmRep Corporation eight years ago. An open house in celebration of Carol's life will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, February 27, 2011 at the Rio Rancho Elks Lodge, 1530 Barbara Loop SE, Rio Rancho, NM.
