Dolores Melia, 87, died Wednesday, February 9, 2011. She is survived by her husband of 65 years John; children, Terrence M. Melia and wife Cary, Gerard P Melia and wife Melinda, Paula G Melo and husband Ernest; grandchildren, John Melia and wife Amy, Matthew Melia, Adam Melia and fiancee Andrea, Kathleen Melia, Jacob Melo, Claire Melo, Andrea Melo and Erin Melia. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents August "Gus" and Hilda Simon and her son John G Melia. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Dolores was an active member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Community where she sang in the 10:00 choir. She had a special affection for her dogs. A Rosary will be recited Monday, February 14, 2011, 7:00 pm, at French ~ Lomas Chapel. The Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, 10:00 am, February 15, 2011 at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church with private burial to follow. Friends may visit Monday, February 14, 2011 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at French ~ Lomas Location.
